Here is my run for 2016. There are spots that I already know where I could pick up some time. Fun ride on Sunday. I hope you enjoy. Also watch for the 5:33 mark for the bird "incident". Gotta love the reaction too! Personal Best time of 10:10.701 netting a 2nd Place finish in class and 12th Overall!
For 2017, I got a new GoPro camera with GPS so we can overlay data like Speed, Course map, G-force, altitude. It is a very cool tool and a very useful one to study where to be faster. I got a Personal Best time of 10:05.855 netting a 2nd Place finish in class and 8th Overall of the cars!

Hang on to your seats for this wild ride up the crazy sketchy Mt. Washington Road!! More twists and turns than I new what to do with. And so narrow! This was a very intimidating road, yet we won our class and set a new 2WD course record!! Enjoy!!

For 2018, I had some transmission issues in practice and a power loss from a cracked exhaust manifold. Not ideal to be able to make a new personal best time. But we still managed a 10:07 and 2nd in class!

This is in-car footage and driver interview from the crazy fog race of 2022. This truly speaks to how it is a race "in the clouds" (see what I did there?). This was one of my wildest drives to date as I could barely see in front of me, maybe 10-15 feet of visibility. Knowing the road well was one of the keys to success, but what it really boiled down to was taking big risks to go fast. I lived to see another day so I was not standing on the podium this year, but was so thankful for the experience. Enjoy the ride...

Video 7 - 2017 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb
For 2020, we kept things simple and really focused on handling of the car with suspension setup. We bailed on our efforts to put in a paddle shift system and moved to the Weddle S5 Gearbox. In doing so, we had a very smooth week with getting faster and faster every run. This year was very different with Covid restrictions keeping spectators at home. Simple proved to be fast as we finally broke the elusive 10-minute barrier with a 9:50.329!! We also finished 7th overall, best time and finish to date. Enjoy the ride...
